The First Georgian “Bio Saperavi”

     They call it organic in the USA, Bio in Europe, and a tradition in Georgia. Givi Nikolashvili was the first businessperson to produce bio products in Georgia. Everything started in 1999 when Mr. Nikolashvili bought 6 hectares of land in an area called Tsiplebi on the right embankment of the Alazani River, Gurjaani district. He invited experienced agriculturist Guram Javakhishvili to plan the vineyard and planted one of the oldest species of grapes – Saperavi.

Kindzmarauli Marani (Kindzmarauli Wine- Cellar)

       In Georgia's most famous wine-making region, Kakheti, there is a small place, Kindzmareuli, which the renowned Georgian wine derived its name from. Its situation at the foot of the Caucasian mountains, in the Alazani Valley determines its special natural and climatic conditions.  It is this place where our history, the history of the Kindzmarauli Marani (Kindzmarauli Wine- Cellar)  company,  began in the symbolic year 2000.

      A tin factory established in 1919 became Ltd. Gori Child Nutrition Tin Factory in 2009. It is an independent enterprise and is 100 % privately owned. The company mainly produces canned vegetables, berries, and citrus under the brand names of KULA and KULA BABY, and uses no artificial materials, preservatives, artificial flavorings or chemical dyes.
